In the City, we learn that John Prophet’s concerns are well-founded – a powerful, well-armed totalitarian regime has taken charge of what used to be New York, and that’s just the beginning of the trouble. In the Republic’s shadow, two men are raising armies to wage the ultimate war, Armageddon, and will stop at nothing to destroy one another.
